The season starts around the 3rd week of May and continues until the end of August. After the regular season, there is a week make up games for games missed during the year, usually due to rain. After that make up week, there are two weeks of playoffs.
Games are played at the Terry Fox Complex, Lansing Park, and/or Selkirk.
No, the only exception is the annual house league tournament, held Friday through Sunday of the Father's Day Weekend.
Monday to Thursday with start times from 5:15PM to 8:00PM. Teams will play once or twice a week.
The Rally Cap Program is an initiative to enhance players' and coaches' first experience with the game of baseball! The program helps teach players the five FUNdamentals of baseball (Fundamental movement skills, throwing, receiving, hitting, base running) in a fun and safe environment. Players have the opportunity to learn, acquire and perform different baseball skills in order to progress through the different levels of the program.

The Shamrocks are our All-Star travelling teams that play teams from all over Ontario, the U.S. and participate in the Northern Elite League. If you are interested in playing baseball at a higher level, watch the Facebook for tryout times or contact a coach on the contacts page.

Registration accepted / Money received starting at registration.
$25 admin fee for refunds up to March 31
$50 admin fee for refunds after March 31
50% admin fee for refunds after first practice/tryout or after uniforms are issued (whichever comes first)
No refunds after Opening Day (May 22)
Registrations received after March 31 are considered late and are subject to a $25 late fee - providing there is space in the division.
Registrations received after the draft, April 23, are considered extra late, handled on a case by case basis, and are subject to a $75 extra late fee.
Players applying for Shamrocks MUST BE REGISTERED WITH SMBA before tryouts. Players who withdraw from SMBA after a tryout are subject to the 50% refund policy.
Conflict with another sport is not considered a valid reason for refund.
Extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The Northern Elite League is a cooperative effort of the baseball associations from Sudbury, Valley East, North Bay and Sault Ste. Marie.
