WHAT IS REP AND WHO ARE THE SHAMROCKS?

Here at the SMBA, our competitive (rep) baseball program is the Shamrocks. This program provides children and youth starting at 9U the opportunity to play competitive baseball by representing the SMBA in house league play, games against neighbouring teams such as the Junior Voyageurs, Soo Black Sox, North Bay, and at out of town tournaments.

2025 SHAMROCK TEAMS

We are excited to announce that our Shamrocks program has expanded. In 2025, the SMBA will be fielding Shamrocks teams at the 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 15U and 18U age groups.

Each team is led by a coach who has been selected by SMBA for their baseball knowledge, leadership, and dedication to helping children and youth grow as baseball players and within the community. All Shamrocks coaches must complete the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and are screened through the SMBA Police Record Check Policy.
