HOUSE LEAGUE
SMBA offers recreational house league divisions for players between the ages of 4 and 19. Each division is overseen by a Division Convenor (see
contact page). The table at the bottom of this page lists the applicable birth years, days of play/practice, and fees for the 2025 season.
5U (T-BALL) / 7U RALLY CAP
T-Ball is a child's introduction to baseball. Time is spent learning and practicing the FUNdamentals of baseball including running the bases, hitting, throwing, and catching. Children will also be introduced to the Rally Cap program which is an initiative to enhance players' and coaches' first experience with the game. This program helps teach players the five FUNdamentals of baseball. Players have the opportunity to perform different tasks in order to earn a coloured Baseball Canada Rally Cap which correspond to various levels of achievement.
Players get one hour of field time per week from the end of May to the middle of August. A hat, jersey, and baseball pants are included as part of your registration fees. Players are required to have their own glove and helmet with cage. Running shoes or non-metal baseball cleats may be worn.
